This was a great opportunity for HAFCA to help Ashikur Rahman, a 21 year old Bangladeshi student of Jahangirnagar University (JU), who was diagnosed of Chronic Renal Failure (CRF) means both Kidney have damaged – one is 97% and the other is 100%. He lost his father when he was 2 years old and in 3-member family he and his brother is student.
During this process he was under treatment in CKDU Hospital, Bangladesh and was going through painful dialysis 2 times in a week. The family had no asset and literally spend last resort to support current treatment. He needed immediate transplantation and his mother was the doner of one kidney. The estimated expense for the transplantation was equivalent of 16,000 AUD. His family has managed about 4,000 AUD with the help of JU.
HAFCAI was able to donate rest of the fund for him. Alhmadullillah.
